HODOR is a 66.2-metre purpose-built luxury support yacht (shadow vessel) designed to operate alongside the world's largest private superyachts, extending their operational capability, carrying specialist equipment, and providing independent expedition support.

Delivered in 2019 by Astilleros Armon in Spain and designed by Incat Crowther, HODOR is the flagship of the ShadowCat series, combining commercial offshore functionality with the quality, reliability, and finish expected of a modern superyacht support vessel.

Constructed entirely from marine-grade aluminium with a twin-hull (catamaran) configuration, HODOR offers exceptional stability, extensive deck space, and significant internal volume while maintaining a relatively shallow draft. The wide-beam platform provides over 650 square metres of usable deck area, allowing the vessel to transport helicopters, luxury tenders, submarines, dive equipment, water sports craft, expedition vehicles, and a wide range of mission-specific cargo that would otherwise occupy valuable space aboard the primary yacht.

Powered by twin MTU diesel engines, HODOR achieves a maximum speed of approximately 22 knots and a transoceanic range of around 5,500 nautical miles at cruising speed, enabling independent long-range operations and global deployment. A certified helicopter landing deck, commercial-grade lifting and cargo-handling capabilities, dedicated workshops, dive facilities, and specialist storage spaces allow the vessel to support complex recreational, scientific, logistical, and expeditionary missions in remote environments.

The vessel is engineered to function as a self-sufficient operational platform, capable of transporting and servicing large tenders, personal watercraft, diving systems, exploration equipment, spare parts, provisions, fuel, and crew while reducing congestion aboard the mothership. This separation of operational and recreational functions enhances the safety, comfort, and efficiency of the primary yacht without compromising luxury guest experiences.

Designed with versatility as its defining characteristic, HODOR can serve in multiple roles including superyacht support, helicopter operations, offshore logistics, expedition cruising, scientific research, dive support, emergency response, and remote-area exploration. Its robust commercial engineering, combined with yacht-level systems integration and operational flexibility, has established HODOR as one of the most advanced and capable support yachts ever built, setting a new benchmark for the modern shadow vessel concept.
