The company was established over three decades ago by Nigel Burgess, a renowned solo ocean racer with an obsessive eye for detail and a passion for the sea. Nigel was a pioneer. He had to innovate and think originally to surpass the competition and drive his company to the top of a market that he helped to create. Nigel succeeded because he always put the client first.

We have been honouring Nigel's philosophy ever since.
