NEBULA is a 68-metre purpose-built expedition support vessel built by Astilleros Armon in Spain and delivered in 2022.

Designed by Incat Crowther with exterior and interior styling by Kirsten Schwalgien Design, she represents a new generation of high-performance support yachts, combining commercial-grade engineering with advanced aviation, logistics, and expedition capabilities. Her innovative aluminium catamaran hull provides exceptional stability, expansive deck space, and efficient high-speed operation, making her one of the most technically advanced support vessels in service.

Developed to accompany the world's largest private yachts on extended global voyages, NEBULA serves as a dedicated shadow vessel, carrying the equipment, personnel, and operational infrastructure required for long-range cruising. Her spacious working deck, heavy-duty crane, extensive storage facilities, and purpose-built engineering spaces allow her to transport tenders, chase boats, personal watercraft, expedition equipment, spare parts, provisions, and technical supplies while allowing the primary yacht to remain focused on guest comfort and entertainment.

One of NEBULA's defining features is her fully enclosed helicopter hangar and certified helideck, designed to accommodate an Airbus H145 helicopter without requiring the rotor blades to be folded. This capability significantly enhances operational flexibility, enabling rapid deployment for guest transfers, reconnaissance, emergency response, and expedition support while protecting the aircraft from the elements during extended voyages.

Powered by twin MTU diesel engines producing a combined 7,724 horsepower, NEBULA is capable of speeds up to 21 knots while maintaining the reliability and efficiency expected of a commercial-grade support platform. Her robust engineering systems, workshops, and dedicated operational spaces allow the vessel to remain self-sufficient during prolonged expeditions, supporting maintenance, logistics, diving operations, scientific research, security missions, and remote exploration.

Accommodation is provided for up to 12 guests together with a professional crew of up to 20, reflecting her dual role as both a capable support platform and an operational base for expedition activities. Designed for worldwide deployment, NEBULA combines advanced maritime engineering with versatile mission capability, making her an ideal companion for extended cruising in diverse environments.

Today, NEBULA is widely recognized as one of the most innovative support vessels afloat, operating alongside the 99.9-metre superyacht Moonrise. Her pioneering catamaran design, integrated helicopter facilities, and extensive expedition capabilities exemplify the evolution of the modern support yacht, extending the range, capability, and self-sufficiency of contemporary superyacht operations.
