Imperial Yachts - 120m Project Signature
Undoubtedly one of the most eventful updates in new build this year was the announcement of 120m Project Signature by Imperial Yachts and AMELS. With the Monegasque brokerage representing the Owner, Signature will be the largest megayacht to ever be built in the Netherlands when she is delivered in 2025. Not only this, but Imperial Director Julia Stewart has promised the Top 100 superyacht will also be ‘one of the most striking, silent and advanced superyachts ever delivered’.

Fraser Yachts - 74m Lady Jorgia / Odyssey II
Italian pedigree build Odyssey II from full custom shipyard CRN also topped the list of large yacht sales this year in an in-house deal by Fraser Yachts. Now renamed Lady Jorgia, CRN’s Cloud 9 as she was known when she was launched in 2017 was built for spending quality time with family and friends, and as a purpose-built charter vessel complete with gym, spa, beauty salon and massage room as well as an exciting variety of toys. Add to this a private Owner’s terrace, glass-bottomed swimming pool as well as indoor and outdoor cinema, and it is no wonder Lady Jorgia was whisked away so promptly.

Burgess & Y.CO - 73m Lunasea / Hasna
On the opposite spectrum of construction but also hailing from the yachting hub of the Netherlands is 73m Feadship superyacht Hasna. Listed for sale last year with Burgess Yachts, the 2017-built motor yacht was sold at the tail end of this summer with Y.CO representing the Buyer, and has since been renamed Lunasea. Lunasea’s new Owner will take much enjoyment from her fully equipped cinema, gym, beach club and state-of-the-art entertainment systems. The yacht was listed at an asking price of €92,500,000.

Burgess & Moran Yacht & Ship - 68m Triple Seven
Counted amongst a series of late summer sales was the 68m Nobiskrug motor yacht Triple Seven, with Burgess representing the seller and Moran Yacht & Ship representing the buyer. This 2006 built superyacht was extensively refit in 2016 to the highest standards, boasting state-of-the-art technology and impeccable contemporary interiors. Burgess Yachts were proud to announce the sale in August at an asking price of €38,000,000.

Fraser Yachts & Burgess - 67.1m Neninka / Aurora Borealis
Kicking off the year of large yacht sales early in February came the announcement that 67.1m AMELS superyacht Aurora Borealis had changed hands, with Fraser Yachts representing the seller and Burgess broker Rupert Nelson bringing the buyer. Delivered only the year before, Neninka as she is now known features a tasteful Tim Heywood x Winch design characterised by a sleek, classic profile and beachy, calming tones within. Aurora Borealis was listed for sale last year at €83,500,000.
