2012 London Boat Show Gets Luxury Injection
The London Boat Show, an annual showcase for the luxury yacht industry currently taking place in the capital, has been injected with a dose of extra glamour this year with the introduction of an entire section dedicated to the luxury and lifestyle.
Nestled amongst the glitzy yachts in the South Hall at London’s ExCeL Centre is the Luxury Lifestyle & Supercar area, where some of the world’s premium luxury brands including a host of high-end automobiles are being displayed.
The move to incorporate a wider scope of luxury into the show comes as the yachting industry seeks to tap into alternative high-end markets to attract new customers during a recession that has priced out many.
As well as luxury cars, the show also features high-end watch and jewellery brands, home entertainment companies, a contemporary fine art gallery, and rare diamonds investment company.
The 2012 London Boat Show runs until 15th January.
