Acqualina Resort & Spa, one of Miami’s most prestigious and luxurious resort hotels, has appointed Tamir Kobrin as its new Managing Director.

In his new role at Acqualina, Mr Kobrin will oversee all aspects of the resort and condominium operations, facilities management, guest experiences, and employee enrichment.

Fluent in five languages, Mr Kobrin is an internationally regarded hospitality executive with nearly 20 years of experience working for luxury hospitality brands, and has held management positions at prestigious hotel groups across the world.

“Tamir’s success in the luxury hotel industry will assist our flagship hotel, maintain its position as a world-class destination resort and competitive edge as the luxury hotel market performance leader,” said Jules Trump, Chairman of Acqualina Management.

“A hotel operator with Tamir’s qualifications can allow the ownership to expand the Acqualina brand through new real estate ventures.”

A seaside luxury haven located on 4.5 beachfront acres in pristine Sunny Isles Beach, Acqualina Resort & Spa features 98 guest rooms and suites and 188 residences with stunning views of the Atlantic ocean.

The resort boasts an array of lavish amenities including the first ESPA-branded spa in the United States, world-class dining destinations, three oceanfront swimming pools, beachfront event space, an executive boardroom, and an award-winning marine biology-based children’s programme.

Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach is also one of only ten hotels in the United States to achieve both the coveted 2013 Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Award and the 2013 AAA Five
