Alexander Wang Opens its Largest Flagship Store in London

Luxury fashion house Alexander Wang has opened its largest branded flagship store worldwide in the prestigious London district of Mayfair.

Located on Albemarle Street and spread across 6,460 square feet, the opening represents the American brand’s 25th store across the globe, and its biggest to date.

The store spans three floors, all linked by a grand, central staircase, and houses Alexander Wang’s full ready-to-wear and accessories offer, plus exclusive, limited-edition items.

Alexander Wang launched its full women’s collection in 2007. In 2009, eponymous founder was announced as the winner of the CFDA’s Swarovski Womenswear Designer of the Year Award.

The brand’s lines are now stocked globally in more than 700 stores and other venues; including, luxury department stores such as, Barneys New York, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Dover Street Market, Browns and Net-a-Porter.

Born in San Francisco in 1983, Alexander Wang is also the creative director of European fashion house Balenciaga.
