Alpine to Showcase A110 Models at London Concours

By Paul Joseph

Following an attention grabbing rebirth at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, the new Alpine A110 has rapidly become renowned for its impressive performance and captivating design.

And now visitors to the upcoming London Concours will have the chance to see the limited-edition 2018 A110 Première Edition and classic A110 Berlinette predecessor, representing the past and the present of the legendary French sporting brand.

Taking place within the five-acre green oasis of the Honourable Artillery Company, the UK’s finest automotive garden party will also feature displays from luxury watchmakers, specialist car dealers and major manufacturers

Instilled with the spirit of its predecessor, the A110 Berlinette first launched in 1961, the new A110 features a 249bhp four-cylinder turbocharged engine coupled with a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox. With a kerb weight of just 1,080 kilograms, the A110 is a compact, lightweight sports car – just like the original.

Alpine Cars’ presence at this year’s London Concours will see a limited-edition A110 Première Edition (one of just 1,955 produced) displayed alongside a classic A110 Berlinette, offering visitors a chance to become immersed in both the history and future of the brand.

Over 80 incredible automobiles will join these French sporting greats celebrating a central theme of speed, from icons of yesteryear to the latest and greatest hypercars.

Away from the main car displays, the London Concours is focused around the worlds of entertainment and luxury products, with pop-up boutiques from top-end watchmakers and arthouses.

London Concours will take place on 7-8 June.
