Aman Opens Luxury Seaside Resort in Mexico

By Paul Joseph

Luxury hotel group Aman has opened its first ever property in Mexico, nestled on the Eastern Cape of the Baja Peninsula .

Renowned for its retreat-like properties in far flung locations, Aman has opened Amanvari, which is being billed as a peaceful escape and private oasis nestled between mountains and sea.

Guests at the luxurius new resort are close to the majestic Sierra de la Laguna mountain range and will also have access to a sandy stretch of beach on the Sea of Cortes.

The resort design involves 20 bi-level hotel pavilions offering plenty of space. Spread across the resort, these pavilions will feature floor to ceiling windows that open onto an outdoor terrace and wraparound sundeck, some with a cantilevered pool.

Meanwhile, the main pavilion at Amanvari forms the focal point of the resort, with an open-air atrium located right on the beach. Here guests and residents are able to enjoy the property’s three restaurants, a library and lounge, as well as a 30-metre infinity pool that includes four hot tubs.

Spa enthusiasts can indulge their senses at the Aman Spa pavilion, which will be located steps from the main pavilion along a treed pathway at the heart of the resort.

Also part of the development are Aman Residences, containing a collection of 4-7 bedroom sea-facing homes available for private purchase.
