‘Whispering Angel’ to Feature at Aspen 2014 Food & Wine Festival

By Paul Joseph

Each year, the world's most accomplished winemakers, celebrity chefs, and culinary experts come together in Aspen, Colorado for a celebration of the very best in fine and wine.

Amongst this year’s exhibitors at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen will be French vineyard Chateau d’Esclans, who have taken the wine world by storm in recent times with their distinctive rose wines and they will be arriving in Aspen with their flagship product in tow: Whispering Angel.

Like all Chateau d’Esclans wines, Whispering Angel hails from the South of France and was recently billed by Ray Isle, Executive Wine Editor at Food & Wine Magazine, organisers of the event, as having achieved “cool thing you have to drink” status amongst the well-heeled elite.

Said to boast a “satiny texture, complex aroma and delicate cherry/berry flavours”, the wine is now available in chic destinations across the world and its showcasing on such a high profile gastronomic stage as the Aspen event will only serve to increase its profile amongst serious wine drinkers.

First held in 1981, the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen has grown to become one of the world’s most important gastronomic festivals.

This year’s event will take place from June 20th – 22nd.
