Anne Bowen Unveils New Bridal Collection

By P. Joseph

Just weeks after the excitement of the British Royal Wedding, New York designer Anne Bowen has revealed her new Spring 2012 Bridal Collection.

Boasting a combination of modern, classic and bohemia, the new Collection was recently marked by a runway show that also included a second collaboration between Anne Bowen and the stationery company Crane & Co.

Attendees were treated to a special lounge created by Crane & Co showcasing their wedding invitations and other paper products. As part of the initiative, Bowen created a unique art installation using paper by Crane & Co. spanning one entire wall of the lounge. Visitors were also given a set of notecards exclusively designed by the designer.

Amongst the Collection, Bowen’s passion for mid-century modern is evident in the Tribeca range of dresses, where chic, modern vertical and horizontal lines are explored with satin chiffon and mikado.

Meanwhile a sophistication is brought to the use of crochet and beading in her Woodstock range, whilst the Sutton Place and Park Avenue ranges boast Swarovski crystals draped and pleated to envelop the body.

The Anne Bowen Bridal Collection is being sold at some of the world's premier bridal retailers including Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier, Stanley Korshak, Kelly's Closet, Belle Mariee, Mon Amie, White (Toronto), SoYoo Bridal (Korea), and Blackburn Bridal (London).
