Aston Martin Launch Three Models in Geneva

By Paul Joseph

Iconic British car brand Aston Martin have launched three new models at the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland, which opens to the public today.

In the year of the brand’s 100th birthday, the luxury car maker have used the high profile Switzerland event to debut the new Rapide S, the Centenary Edition Vanquish and the Q by Aston Martin.

Limited to just 100 units, the Rapide S sedan boasts a range of new design details from its predecessor, designed to give the car a more aggressive appearance whilst improving aerodynamics. Moreover, the car also features enhanced horsepower of 550 (up from 470) and 457 pound-feet of torque (up from 442), enhancing its speed by 0.3 seconds, and with top speeds in excess of 190mph.

The Centenary Edition Vanquish, meanwhile, is also limited to just 100 units and sports a graduated-finish paint scheme and sterling silver badging with a unique enamel inlay. It is delivered to its owner with a gift box of Centenary accessories.

Finally, Q by Aston Martin offers a bespoke personalisation service, which allows buyers to customize cars (and even consumer goods) beyond the normal build sheet. Several examples of its Q design service are on display in Geneva, including a Morning Frost metallic Vanquish with a Spectral Blue interior accented in Pearl White, sports blue-tinted carbon fibre, blue diamond-turned wheels and embossed Q logos.

The 2013 Geneva Motor Show runs until 17th March.
