Aston Martin Redefine The Vanquish

By Ben Roberts

The AM310 Vanquish is the new successor to the DBS and, borrowing from the style of the One-77 Coupe, Aston Martin has unveiled the new edition of the world renowned supercar.

Aston Martin has taken the latest VH (vertical horizontal) architecture to create this incredible example of automotive engineering, and with materials such as bonded aluminium and carbon-fibre the new Vanquish is rigid and lightweight.

The AM310 Vanquish is powered by an enhanced 6.0 litre V12 engine paired with a Touchtronic 2 six-speed automatic gearbox, capable of 0-62mph in 4.1 seconds and can reach a top speed of 183mph.

The high-quality interior was designed to emulate the style of the One-77 Coupe, featuring a sweeping centre console, full-grain leather upholstery, heated power front seats, a Garmin navigation system with 6.5m inch pop-up LCD screen, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, and a 1000-watt 15-speaker Bang & Olufson audio system.

Priced from $279,995, first deliveries of the new sports car are expected to begin across the Americas in early 2013.
