Aston Martin Video Shows Craft Behind Its Creations
British luxury car brand Aston Martin has created a video showing the intricate hand-crafting behind its Cygnet model, which was unveiled earlier this year.
Each Cygnet is hand crafted by a team of artisans at Aston Martin’s Gaydon factory in the UK, including a paint technician, a paint supervisor, a seat builder, various assembly technicians, a trim lead, a customer acceptance technician and a production supervisor.
Based on Toyota’s iQ model, the Cygnet has a 1.33-litre engine, can reach a top speed of 170km/h, and hit 100km/h in 11.8 seconds.
It was specifically designed for urban driving in an age of increased city congestion, and with growing pressure on manufacturers to produce more economical and fuel-efficient cars.
Prices for the Aston Martin Cygnet start at £30,995.
