Audio Fidelity Turn Iconic Albums To Gold

By P. Joseph

Califoria-based music restoration company Audio Fidelity has produced a limited edition series of classic rock & roll CDs coated with 24-karat pure gold.

Designed to preserve some of music's greatest treasures, the new range features legendary albums including Stevie Wonder’s“Songs In The Key Of Life”, James Taylor’s “Walking Man”and Simon & Garfunkel’s “Sounds Of Silence”.

The CDs' gold coating helps to provide what the company claims is superior sound quality to conventional CDs.

Each CD is individually numbered and will be available in limited quantities through various retail outlets and over the internet.

Other illustrious albums to receive the unique gold treatment include Carly Simon’s “No Secrets” and Bad Company’s “Straight Shooter”.

Founded in 1975 by Marshall Blostein, Audio Fidelty specialises in the recreation and reissuing of music history’s greatest known productions.
