For most people buying their own home in the Caribbean is the ultimate dream, but those with a cool $85 million burning a hole in their pockets can treat themselves to an entire island.

Little Pipe Cay, a 38-acre island in the Bahamas, is currently on the market for a hefty $85 million, complete with a whole host of luxury full-service homes and amenities.

Located 70 miles southeast of the Bahamian capital city of Nassau and 270 miles from Miami, the island can be reached via a sea plane and has featured as the backdrop in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean starring Johnny Depp and a handful of James Bond movies too.

The island boasts five homes, four private beaches and hundreds of feet of dock frontage to accommodate boats.

It also features landscaped gardens, swimming pools and spa facilities, and a bar in the main house.

The plush island retreat is three miles away from the well-known Staniel Cay and also just a boat’s hop from Big Major Cay, also known as “Pig Island” for its population of swimming pigs.
