Bamford Watch Department Create Karl Lagefeld-Inspired Rolex

By Paul Joseph

Watch customisation experts Bamford Watch Department have crafted a new limited edition version of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss timepiece inspired by fashion designer Karl Lagefeld.

Featuring the German-born designer’s face at 7 o'clock on the watch face, as well as his signature, the timepiece is available at the Karl Lagerfeld concept stores in Paris and Munich, priced at €19,000 euros.

First introduced in 1956, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss is widely considered a classic within the world of watch making, and features a special antimagnetic design created for laboratory and power station workers.

Karl Lagerfeld also has his own line of watches in collaboration with fashion and jewellery brand Fossil.

Born in Hamburg, Germany in 1933, Lagerfeld has grown to become one of the world’s most renowned fashion designers, artists and photographers. Over the years he has worked with famous brands including Chanel, Fendi and Chloé.
