B&B Italia Creates New Outdoor Furniture Range
Italian high-end furniture maker B&B Italia has extended its outdoor collection with a new range of luxury pieces.
Amongst the new items is the ‘Husk Outdoor’ armchair, designed by Patricia Urquiola and featuring a hard shell and a set of soft cushions
The armchair’s body is white, while the fixed seat support is available in painted shades of white, black, orange, acid green and sky blue. Cushions come in two versions, and are covered by a technical fabric that is available in five shades: white, beige, orange, acid green, sky blue. The water resistant cushion enables water to seep through without stagnation.
In keeping with many of B&B Italia’s products, the armchair is also made of recycled and recyclable materials, with all components put together so they can be fully disassembled, thus simplifying the recycling process and reducing the environmental impact.
Other pieces within the new range is a small, round ‘Husk table’, which, like the chair is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Painted a single colour, it is available in the same five shades as the body of the chair; white, black, acid green, orange and sky blue.
