Luxury Asian hotel group Banyan Tree has introduced its new hospitality concept in Thailand, billed as combining the benefits of a hotel and serviced apartments.

Featuring cutting-edge design, colourful street art and customised living and dining options, the Cassia Residences is located within Banyan Tree’s Laguna Phuket beach resort.

The residences contain a total of 221 residences, including one and two-bedroom apartments, each with a separate living room and fully-equipped kitchen.

Staff are on hand to take care of guests and recommend the best local activities, from sunbathing on the best beaches and island-hopping tours to spa massages and Thai boxing classes.

Amenities at Cassia Phuket include two swimming pools, a spa, direct access to Bang Tao Beach, a gym, mini convenience mart, home-delivery service and touch-screen concierge.

The Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts Group was founded in 1996. It currently manages or has ownership interests in over 20 resorts and hotels, 60 spas, 70 retail galleries, and 3 golf courses across the world.
