Bell & Ross Launch Twelve 'o'clock art watch

By P. Joseph

French watch brand Bell & Ross have created a unique, limited-edition timepiece that displays the hours, but no minutes or seconds, on its dial.

Limited to just 12 pieces, the Twelve 'o'clock art watch comes in the signature square shape of Bell & Ross watches with an overall steel and black PVD finish.

The watch’s dial is round but has been fitted perfectly within a square cut rim. The hours come together as vertical numerical digits only two times a day when the three independent disks of the dial align themselves accordingly to display the exact hour.

The mechanism is supported by 12 separate timepieces at the back of the watch, each powered by an individual battery.

As with many Bell & Ross creations, the crystal used in the watch is a special anti-reflective sapphire, whilst the watch is water resistant up to a depth of 100 metres.

Delivery on the Twelve 'o'clock art watch will begin later this year. The watch is priced at $88,000.
