Bentley to Debut “World’s Fastest SUV” in Frankfurt

Iconic British carmaker Bentley is to launch a new model at the forthcoming Frankfurt Motor Show billed as the world’s fastest production SUV.

The 2017 Bentley Bentayga was unveiled last week ahead of its official Frankfurt debut this week, showing many of the signature design elements of the Bentley brand.

Touted to have a top speed of 301 km/h (187mph). It is powered by a brand-new 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 gasoline engine, which churns out 600 horses and 664 lb-ft of torque.

In terms of the styling, an elegant and sporty exterior features LED headlights paired with oval-shaped daytime running lights.

On the inside, the Bentayga comes with a panoramic glass roof as standard and can be ordered with either four or five seat configurations. The SUV also offers up to eight driving modes for various on-road and off-road conditions, while additional driving aids include adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert and a 360-degree camera system.

The Bentley Bentayga is expected to have a price-tag of around £130,000.
