Berkley Hotel Offers Jimmy Choo Tea Service

By Paul Joseph

London’s prestigious Berkeley Hotel has partnered with shoe brand Jimmy Choo to offer an English tea service inspired by the shoe designer.

The hotel’s latest in its line of Prêt-à-Portea tea services, inspired by the themes and colours of the fashion world, features a range of Jimmy Choo-themed cakes and pastries shaped like the brand’s classic ‘Anouk’ shoe, a pointy-toe pump that comes in a kaleidoscope of colours.

To create the quirky service, the Knightsbridge hotel’s pastry chefs examined Jimmy Choo’s iconic shoes and accessories to see how they could marry the materials, embellishments, prints and patterns of the latest catwalk designs with a unique take on afternoon tea.

The Pret-a-Portea Jimmy Choo Collection service runs from October 13th – 19th and is priced at £41 per person.

Founded by the eponymous Malaysian fashion designer in 2011 as a luxury shoe maker, Jimmy Choo has since diversified into leather goods and accessories.
