Beverly Hills Residence On Market for $195 Million
A sensational 12-bedroom Mediterranean-style villa. in Beverly Hills, California has gone on the market for $195 million, a price that would make it the most expensive property in the United States.
The brainchild of real-estate investor Jeff Greene, the stunning home – called Palazzo di Amore – is nestled within a 25-acre compound that includes the 35,000-square-foot main home and a 15,000-square-foot entertainment centre complete with a bowling alley, 50-seat theatre, Turkish-style spa and a reflecting pool.
Visitors arriving at the property – which also boasts 23 separate bathrooms – will pass along a quarter-mile driveway that takes you past a pristine vineyard.
Mr. Greene bought the estate out of receivership for $35 million in 2007 from Saudi businessman Mishaal K. Adham, while it was under construction. Since then he is said to have spent 25 million on renovation work resulting in its current splendour.
