Available in either red or white gold, the Retrograde Calendar watch boasts several impressive features including mother of pearl details, moon phase with stars crafted from diamonds, a star tipped serpentine blue hand indicating the calendar and decentralized minute and hour counters at the 6 o’clock position.
Perhaps the timepiece’s most impressive feature is its calendar, which works in a retrograde manner so that the indicator hand jumps back to the first day of the month when the previous month is complete.
Other notable elements include a bezel studded with 40 diamonds, a crown also set with diamonds, a 36 mm case complemented by a sapphire crystal display caseback, including an oscillating weight for the automatic mechanical movement shaped like a flower.
The watch also includes a Blancpain caliber 2650RL and white leather straps.
Blancpain was founded by Jehan-Jaques Blancpain in Switzerland in 1735.
