Blancpain Release Valentine’s Themed Women’s Timepiece
High-end Swiss watchmakers Blancpain have created a striking new limited edition women’s timepiece for Valentine’s Day.
Limited to just 14 exclusive pieces, the watch boasts a mother of pearl dial decorated with a majestic inlaid rose with each petal delicately sculpted into the white mother of pearl.
The rose was cut and dyed before being assembled on the dial, while the varying thickness of the mother of pearl allow the colour to show through giving it a distinctive appearance in shades of pink.
The watch’s white gold case is lit up with 121 diamonds and the design is enhanced by the intertwined rows of different sized stones.
Other notable features include an off–centre hour movement, while on the back of the watch, the pink mother of pearl is inlaid on the oscillating weight matching the design on the dial.
Each watch is engraved and numbered and the chic look is completed with a white ostrich leather strap.
Blancpain was founded by Jehan-Jaques Blancpain in Switzerland in 1735.
