Blue World Voyages Offer Luxury Homes at Sea

By Paul Joseph

For those who can’t quite stretch to their own superyacht, luxury cruises are a hugely popular alternative way of travelling the world’s oceans in style.

Set to launch in 2021, Blue World Voyage is a brand new high-end cruise concept that is billing itself as the first of its kind anywhere in the world dedicated to sports, fitness and wellness.

What’s more, the ship will also be home to 40 Owners Residences – priced at £1.79 million for a one-bedroom and £2.5 million for a split-level, two-bedroom – for those keen to own a luxury home on the sea.

Repurposed and completely refurbished, the 525-guest vessel has been designed and styled by top marine design architects Tomas Tillberg International and acclaimed interior design firm Juan Poggi Designs.

The ship’s two full upper decks will be reserved exclusively for Owner Residences. The two-bedroom home will feature a split-level design with a spacious living area that opens to a large balcony, with the second level including master and guest bedrooms, both with walk-in wardrobes and luxurious bathrooms. The master bedroom will have its own private balcony, which can accommodate an outdoor bed for sleeping under the stars.

Owners will have the choice of two distinct styles for their fully-furnished homes-at-sea: Classic or Contemporary.

Along with enjoying the ship’s public spaces and amenities, owners will also have access to two private upper decks which offer a private terrace, lounge and bar, plus a personal concierge, available at all times.

Services and facilities will include state-of-the-art sports and wellness programming both on the ship and ashore; two full decks entirely dedicated to sports and fitness; access to onboard experts and specialists; and healthy gourmet dining. Opportunities for shoreside activities will include hiking, cycling, tennis, golf, water sports and much more.

Sports and fitness amenities will include a functional training & strength conditioning centre, golf & football simulators, various fitness studios including yoga and spinning, and a sea-water lap pool.

Speaking about the lavish Residences, Fredy Dellis, a co-founder of Blue World Voyages, said: “As interest in cruise- travel surges, sophisticated travellers are looking to own a home at sea.

"By offering Owners Residences, Blue World Voyages provides an option for active, athletic and health-focused travellers to own their own space at sea, whilst travelling the world with like-minded individuals.”

Owners will receive a purchase agreement which contains a 25-year Right of Use, as well as the option to rent their residence through Blue World Voyages Rental Programme. Owners will also be free to use their property as frequently as they wish.

The sale of the residences in the UK will be handled by Blue World Voyages and international property specialist, Erna Low Lifestyle.
