Bose Launch SoundTouch WiFi Speaker System

By Paul Joseph

Audio experts Bose have launched a new range of WiFi speakers called the SoundTouch system.

The system includes three speakers in its line-up, each of a different size, including the SoundTouch 30 which comes with a built-in woofer and is designed for larger rooms.

The second speaker down is the The SoundTouch 20, which its creators believe is perfect for bedrooms or kitchens, whilst the SoundTouch Portable is the smallest of the three and is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

Each of the speakers can receive software updates automatically, and all of them come with a circular SoundTouch controller with a volume dial and proximity sensor.

In addition to the physical controller, Bose also has a dedicated SoundTouch app available for iOS, Android, OS X, and Windows.

The Bose SoundTouch comes with a starting price of $399 for the SoundTouch 20 or the SoundTouch Portable, whilst the SoundTouch 30 is priced at $699.
