BRABUS Marine Introduces New Shadow 38 Performance Boat Range

By Sophia Spanton

BRABUS Marine has announced its all-new Shadow 38 range, a new generation of 38-foot performance boats that will make their global debut later this year.

Developed in collaboration with Axopar, the range comprises the Shadow 850 XC Cross Cabin and the Shadow 1000 XC Cross Cabin, both of which build on the proven 37-foot platform while introducing a more refined and technically advanced approach.

The new models are designed to push BRABUS Marine further into the luxury day boating market, with a focus on performance, usability and customisation. The Shadow 1000 XC Cross Cabin is the more extreme of the two, powered by twin Mercury Racing 500R V8 engines producing 1,000 horsepower in total, while the Shadow 850 XC Cross Cabin uses twin Mercury 425 V10s to deliver 850 horsepower.

According to BRABUS Marine, the new range reflects a deeper level of co-development with Axopar than previous models, with more emphasis on integration, design detail and owner configurability. The company says the result is a platform that combines performance with modularity, offering buyers a greater degree of personalisation across layout and finish.

Built on years of shared expertise and real-world experience, the platform follows the principle of “one boat, one world,” offering exceptional versatility without compromising performance, safety and visual appeal.

The full Shadow 38 range will make its official world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival from September 8–13, 2026, before going on display at the Monaco Yacht Show later in the month.
