Breaking the Ice: VIPs to Sample Svalbarði Polar Iceberg Water on Côte d'Azur
Mineral water is normally the social drink of choice for designated drivers and tee-total puritans only, but at Sunseeker’s VIP cocktail party on the Cote d’Azur this week, it might just be the most popular order at the bar.
Svalbarði Polar Iceberg Water, a luxurious drinking water gathered from icebergs in the Arctic Circle, will be served at the party, which takes place quayside at Port Camille Rayon in the seaside resort of Golfe-Juan.
The event, which is open to members of Club Vivanova, a business networking and premium wine club, will bring together fine beverages, high fashion, luxury yachts and VIP networking. Svalbarði Polar Iceberg Water will be available to taste alongside fine wines from the Wine Palace Monte Carlo.
Recently presented to the Monegasque market at a private Boucheron event, Svalbarði Polar Iceberg Water has already made a strong impression on the Cote d’Azur. Served in an award-winning bottle of exceptional design, the crisp water is billed as providing a unique mouth-feel.
Representatives of the brand will be in attendance at Port Camille Rayon to share insight into the fascinating new product. Svalbarði Polar Iceberg Water is harvested only from icebergs that would otherwise melt into the ocean. A percentage of every sale is donated to the Svalbard Global Seed Bank to preserve food crops from the damages wrought by global warming.
A great deal of interest has been shown in the product from the yachting industry; the luxurious drinking water can also be paired with gourmet food or used as an alcohol alternative.
