Breguet Set to Host Shanghai Exhibition

By Paul Joseph

Swiss luxury watch brand Breguet is to host an exhibition in Shanghai in early September to create awareness among Chinese consumers.

Taking place in Breguet’s Shanghai store in the city’s Xintiandi district, the event will showcase the company’s 240-year history and will mark the official inauguration of the first Asian stop of the international show.

The store will become a gallery for the event, which will also feature a concert by the Shanghai Philarmonic Orchestra and a gala dinner in a high-end location within the city.

The Breguet store in Shanghai is the brand’s largest global boutique with almost 6,437 square feet of area space.

Recently Breguet took over the departures concourse of Geneva International Airport in Switzerland with an exhibition featuring its high-tech watches, the Type XXII 3880 and the Classique Chronométrie 7727.

Breguet was founded by Abraham-Louis Breguet in Paris in 1775. The brand is now owned by Swiss company The Swatch Group.
