Breitling and Bentley Combine To Create New Timepiece
Watchmaker Breitling has teamed up with luxury car manufacturer Bentley to create a limited edition watch to commemorate the breaking of the world speed record on ice earlier this year.
The record was broken by Juha Kankkunen, Finland’s four-time world rally champion, in a Bentley Continental Supersports convertible, last February.
Limited to just 100 pieces, the Supersports Ice Speed Record commemorative watch is being given away to anyone purchasing the special edition Bentley Supersports ISR (Ice Speed Record) convertible, that was also designed following Kankkunen’s achievement.
The watch shares many of the same design elements as the record-breaking Bentley, including distinctive red detailing, carbon fibre fascia and dashboard-style dial.
Other notable features include a Breitling Calibre 27B self-winding movement, a titanium case engraved to commemorate Breitling’s partnership with Bentley, and a carbon-fiber presentation box with a unique identification plaque.
