By Paul Joseph

The limited edition Navitimer Blue Sky timepiece by Brietling was unveiled in Singapore yesterday by the Swiss watch brand’s global ambassador and Hollywood star John Travolta.

Limited to just 500 pieces globally, the watch was commissioned to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic aviation timepiece, the Navitimer, which is the world’s oldest mechanical chronograph still in production.

Mr. Travolta, a certified private pilot with a fleet of his own aircrafts, unveiled the watch at the Equinox restaurant in Singapore’s prestigious Swissôtel.

The Navitimer Blue Sky comes in a 43mm steel case and boasts an Aurora blue dial as well as a bidirectional rotating bezel with a circular slide rule. The watch also comes with an optional dark blue crocodile leather strap, an Air Racer strap or a Navitimer Bracelet.

The watch will retail for about $10,000.
