With a proven top speed of over 400 kilometres per hour, the Veyron 16.4 features a W16 engine, the equivalent of two V8 engines in a vee configuration, which is fed by four turbochargers.
A dual-clutch DSG computer controlled manual transmission puts this power to the ground, although the car can also be driven by full automatic transmission.
The Veyron boasts a classic two-tone colour scheme designed to reflect the retro-glamour of Bugatti’s of old.
Even the Michelin run-flat tires are specifically designed to allow the Veyron to reach its exhilarating top speed.
Word has it that customers from French glamour-capital St Tropez have shown the most interest to date.
