French luxury sports car maker Bugatti has unveiled its latest creation, the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Rafale, at the 2012 Sao Paulo Motor Show in Brazil.

Based on the highly popular Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, the new special edition Rafale boasts several augmented visual features, including new alloy wheels and a two-tone exterior with “Gris Rafale” paint and blue carbon fiber.

On the interior, there is also a blue theme, with seats trimmed in Lake Blue leather and with contrasting light grey stitching.

Aside from its visual enhancements, the Rafale has remained loyal to the original Grand Sport Vitesse, with its quad-turbocharged 7.9-liter W16 engine that produces 1,200 HP (882 kW) and 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft) of torque.

A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission enables the roadster to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.6 seconds, and reach a top speed of 410 km/h (255 mph).

The special edition Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Rafale is priced at €1.9m – an increase of €110,000 from the standard model.
