Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, the hospitality arm of the iconic Italian fashion house, has announced it is to open its first Japanese property.

Located in the vibrant city of Tokyo, the project is in partnership with global real estate company Mitsui Fudosan, and will be located in a high rise building in the Yaesu 2-Chome North District Category-I Urban Redevelopment Project, occupying the 39th to the 45th floors.

The hotel will feature 98 rooms, including an ultra-luxurious Bulgari Suite. Guests will have access to a bar, restaurant and fireplace lounge, all of which will have their own outdoor terraces.

Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy the chocolate store while a ballroom will be available for major events. Those seeking a relaxing wellness experience can indulge their senses in a 1500-square-metre Spa complete with a 25-metre indoor pool and fitness centre.

In addition to hotel rooms, the luxury tower will house offices and various commercial facilities.

The hotel is to be designed by the Italian architecture firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Bulgari promises that “it is poised to be one of the brightest new stars in the Tokyo skyline.”

Located close to Tokyo station, as well as local shopping and business areas, the hotel will be a convenient option for both business and leisure travellers.

Bulgari Hotels & Resorts operates high-end hotels in Milan, London, Bali, Beijing and Dubai. Four new hotels are due to open in Shanghai, Moscow, Paris and Tokyo from 2018 to 2022.
