Bulgari’s Diva Finissima: The World’s Thinnest Minute Repeater

But this is not just any repeater –the hand-wound caliber BVL 362 Finissimo movement is in fact the world’s thinnest, at just 3.12mm.

Activated using a slide on the case which is decorated with a diamond studded fan, the minute repeated is the most notable feature of this striking timepiece, although there are plenty of others.

Among them are an 18-karat pink gold case and lugs are studded with brilliant cut diamonds. The crown, hour markers and small seconds are all set with diamonds.

However the most eye-catching component is the dial which has been crafted using the Japanese technique of lacquering it first with black Urushi lacquer before sprinkling it with gold dust. The black dial is complemented by a black alligator strap for a polished look.

Bulgari has created only 10 of these Diva Finissima Minute Repeaters, with each one priced at $187,000.
