Richly romantic and flawlessly feminine, the new eyewear range from Cartier is adorned with rare jewels and delicate designs.
Each set of frames are embellished with an intricate orchid decorated with either pink sapphires, diamonds or simple and stylish hand-laid black lacquer.
Although primarily designed as prescription spectacles, the frames can also be ordered to serve as sunglasses.
With their precious stones and solid frames, the glasses range in price from approximately US$7,000 for an 18 karat white gold pair, to $44,500 for an 18 karat pair of pink-gold frames featuring diamonds and pink sapphires. These prices cover the frames only.
The Caresse d’orchidees par Cartier collection also features a range of exquisite jewellery including earrings, necklaces and rings.
