Carla Bruni Appears in New Photo Shoot for Bulgari
Carla Bruni, the singer songwriter, model and wife of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, appears in a new promotional campaign for iconic luxury brand Bulgari.
She features in Bulgari’s high jewellery Diva collection campaign, shot by American fashion, portrait, and documentary photographer Terry Richardson.
The campaign marks the former first lady of France’s first modelling appearance for a jewellery brand
Aged just 19, she signed with City Models at age 19 before going on to work for renowned designers and fashion houses such as Christian Dior, Givenchy, Paco Rabanne, Sonia Rykiel, Christian Lacroix, Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano, Yves Saint-Laurent, Shiatzy Chen, Chanel and Versace.
Bruni has previously talked about her passion for jewellery, and in particular a gemmed bracelet given to her by her aunt.
“I loved that bracelet,” she has said. “I loved its joy, its fantasy – I dreamed of one day possessing such a wonder of my own! I was told that, like me, it came from Italy to Paris. Perhaps that was part of why I loved it, too.
