Iconic French jewellery house Cartier is currently hosting a special exhibition at London’s prestigious Selfridge’s department store.

Housed within Selfridge's 'Wonder Room', the exhibition is divided into two separate areas: one displaying seven of Cartier's most iconic creations down the years, and another cinema room showing a short film titled L'Odyssee de Cartier.

The seven pieces - Maison: Juste un Clou, Trinity, Love, Panthère de Cartier, Santos, Tank and Ballon bleu de Cartier - are designed to showcase Cartier's rich heritage, whilst tyhe room also features a range of archive imagery to compliment the physical items.

The film, “L’Odyssee de Cartier”, also tells the story of Cartier’s unique history from its beginnings as the jeweller-of-choice for European royalty to its modern-day status as a truly global brand. It features many of Cartier’s most enduring designs, including the “Tutti Frutti” style jewellery of the Maharajas, and the Santos watch, the first modern watch designed to be worn on the wrist.

Founded by Louis-François Cartier in in Paris, France in 1847, Cartier has grown to become one of the world’s most illustrious jewellery houses.
