Cartier Opens New Store in Seoul
Historical French luxury jeweller Cartier has opened a new flagship store in the heart of Seoul, the capital of South Korea.
Located on a luxury fashion street in Cheongdam, Cartier Maison Cheongdam is housed in traditional Korean architecture 4-story building with one underground floor.
Cyrille Vigneron, CEO of Cartier International, said that the building was designed to mix the spirit of Cartier and Korean features.
The store sells a selection of limited-edition Cartier products, as well as its signature watches and jewellery.
Founded by Louis-François Cartier in Paris in 1847, Cartier has grown to become one of the world’s most illustrious luxury brands.
The company has a long history of sales to royalty and celebrities. King Edward VII of England referred to Cartier as "the jeweller of kings and the king of jewellers”.
