Chanel Opens Revamped London Boutique

French luxury goods brand Chanel has reopened its newly designed watch and fine jewellery boutique on London’s New Bond Street.

Billed as having the feel of a private luxury apartment, the opulent store is spread across three floors and a total of 4,500 square feet.

Notable features include floors covered in distinctive tweed carpets and pale suede walls, while on the ground floor two chandeliers hang from the double height ceilings.

There is also a glass lift and a crystal and bronze staircase, while Venetian mirrors and antique Louis XV style chairs decorate the boudoir-style spaces housing Chanel’s merchandise.

Earlier this month, a new report into luxury brands showed that Chanel is leading the way when it comes to social media, with the brand coming up most frequently over 80 countries and 700 social media posts across luxury, watches and commerce.

Chanel was founded in Paris in 1909.
