By Paul Joseph

Iconic Swiss watch brand Chopard have created a stunning new timepiece to mark the opening of its new boutique in Geneva, Switzerland.

Limited to just 25 pieces, the commemorative watch is a new interpretation of Chopard’s L.U.C XPS model and the first to come in platinum.

The watch, which comes in a 39.5mm platinum case, features a blue dial with a sunburst satin-brushed finish and the “Poinçon de Genève” logo – a guarantee of exceptional quality introduced in 1886.

Other notable features include rhodium coated dauphine-style hour and minute hands and hour-markers, while close to the 3 o’clock marker is the date aperture, complete with a dark blue date disk with white numerals.

It also features a self-winding movement fitted with two barrels ensuring a 65-hour power reserve.

The new Chopard boutique will be located on Geneva’s Rue du Rhône.
