Chopard Release Porsche 919 Chronograph
Swiss jewellery house Chopard has created a special edition timepiece to celebrate its new partnership with car manufacturer Porsche.
The launch of the limited edition Porsche 919 chronograph marks Porsche’s return to the Le Mans Endurance World Championship where it will compete in its 919 Hybrid sports car.
Housed in a 45mm steel case featuring a dial with black and red accents, each watch is engraved with a “Porsche Motorsport Official Timing Partner” inscription.
Other notable elements include a screw-locked crown with black rubber-clad steering wheel motif and “919” logo stamped at 9 o’clock, Chopard’s 03.05-M calibre movement, a power reserve of 60 hours and a fly-back chronograph function.
The Porsche 919 Edition is set to hit the market this Autumn, priced at $12,890.
