Christian Louboutin Reveals Perfume Oil Collection
World-renowned French fashion house Christian Louboutin has made its second foray into the world of perfume by creating a new range in a luxurious oil format.
According to its makers, these oils are elixirs containing a high concentration of parfum oil and no added water or alcohol, making them a more “intimate” fragrance experience in comparison to traditional perfumes.
The oil is intended to be massaged into the skin, leaving a subtle sheen and enveloping the wearer in a cloud of fragrance. Fragrance oils can be layered to create new and personal scents, or worn alone. You can apply the oils to areas like the décolleté, wrists, collarbone, along her legs, her inner arm or the nape of the neck.
The bottles have been created in partnership with Heatherwick Studio and boast a similar shape and the same colourways that were seen on the original perfume bottles. The oils are priced at $320 for a $30 ml bottle.
Christian Louboutin set up his own eponymous company in 1991. Mainly renowned for its women’s shoe designs, it has grown to become one of the world’s most iconic fashion labels.
