Classic Ferraris Sold at Palm Beach Charity Auction
La Bella Macchina, an annual showcase of rare and classic Ferrari automobiles, took place in Palm Beach, Florida last week, raising $20,000 in a silent auction for the Boys and Girls Club of Palm Beach County, a charity set up to inspire and assist underprivileged young people.
Hosted by business aviation company Jet Aviation at its Palm Beach facility, the event was attended by over 1,000 invited guests who strolled amongst an array of Ferraris, as well as several aircrafts and yachts, all sitting imposingly on the tarmac.
The 12th edition of the event was held in conjunction with the week-long Cavallino Classic, a prestigious convention for Ferrari enthusiasts and owners.
Gary Dempsey, president of Jet Aviation’s U.S. Aircraft Services, said; “La Bella Macchina is an event for those who appreciate performance while highlighting the positive impact that business aviation has upon the many communities it serves.
“More importantly, the event attracts customers and others with the means to make significant monetary contributions to charitable organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club of Palm Beach County. Jet Aviation extends its gratitude to each of our generous event sponsors who make it all possible.”
Founded in Switzerland in 1967, Jet Aviation has grown to become one of the leading business aviation services companies in the world.
