By Paul Joseph

A stunning 60 foot bronze statue by the acclaimed artist Damien Hirst has taken residence at a luxury Las Vegas hotel.

Built back in 2014, the eye-catching headless sculpture is called “Demon with Bowl” and occupies the prime setting of the glistening pool at the Palms Casino Resort.

The massive 65-foot bronze statue was part of Hirst’s extensive 2014 exhibition entitled “Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable” at the Palazzo Grassi in Venice.

The artist has been an influential figure in the transformation of the Palms Casino Resort, which recently opened its expansive new club Kaos spanning 100,000 square foot.

From masterminding the resort’s lavish Empathy Suite, to this latest dazzling addition, Hirst’s contribution to the property is said to equate to a cool $620 million.

An English artist, entrepreneur, and art collector, Damien Hirst is one of the Young British Artists who dominated the art scene in the UK during the 1990s.
