The Dottling Gyrowinder Watch Winder is fitted with counterweights that can be moved around to enable your watch to face any direction you’d like. Conventional watchwinders work on a single axis, turning a watch either from left to right or from right to left.
Available in a choice of either steel or a combination of brass and gold, the watchwinder comes with a hand-blown crystal glass cover.
The piece was the brainchild of Markus Döttling, the founder of Dottling, who got the idea after seeing a spin testing device for astronauts at NASA's Kennedy Space Centre.
The Dottling Gyrowinder Watch Winder is priced at €11,800 (£9,476).
Döttling was founded in Maichingen, Germany, in 1919.
