The luxury beverage company known for their stand-out Champagnes and bespoke handbags sized bottles perfect for fun in the sun, have now astounded audiences with their latest award. The Cuvée Premier Cru Brut Rosé de Saignée impressed the panel of more than 400 international judges so much so, that they were awarded a Gold Medal.
As if this wasn't enough the brand were also awarded for their Premier Cru Brut Blanc the highest honour with a rare Grand Gold Medal. The company shared; "We are blown away by this success as our Cuvées entered the highest ranks among the 7,000 entrants tasted!"
Berlin Wine Trophy is considered tge world's largest wine competition and Germany's most important international wine tasting under the patronage of the OIV and UIOE. Over 3,000 wines were tasted with only 55 Great Gold medals. De Watère on this occassion boasted being the only champagne being awarded this honour.
"We couldn't be happier as this continued success" shares the company, having been awarded the very same award having participated in 2016. "This proves that our original organic production methods create truly special Champagnes!"
