Dent London Unveil Classic Men’s Wrist Watch

By P. Joseph

British watch maker Dent London, famous as the makers of the Big Ben Clock, have launched a new men’s timepiece inspired by designs from the early 20th century.

The three-handed wrist watch, called the Dent Denison, is based on classic 1920s and 30s watch design, featuring a cushion case and a white dial with hand-applied Breguet numerals and a small date aperture at 3 o’clock.

Limited to just 100 pieces in 18ct rose gold models, and 100 in 18ct white gold, the watch boasts “teardrop” hour and minute hands made from steel in a classic English style.

The back of the watch features a caseback that opens to reveal an exquisitely made automatic movement inside a semi-circular crystal display. The fully wound movement offers a power reserve of 42 hours.

The caseback can be personalised and the secondary back carries a hand-engraved pattern in the style of English designer William Morris.

Priced at $39,950, each watch is handmade to order and requires six months to construct.
