Dior to Open New Flagship Store in Mayfair

French luxury fashion house is to open a new flagship London store in the heart of Mayfair, the brand has confirmed.

Situated on New Bond Street, the new store will follow the recent opening of a Dior pop-up store on Mount Street, also in Mayfair.

Spread across 1290 square feet, the pop-up features a grey cabin style dressing area that sits on dove grey carpets in the centre of the store, matching the painted walls of the boutique.

Artworks including teardrop-shaped stained glass mirrors adorn the walls and furniture has also been specially designed for the space, most notably a grey sofa by Vladimir Kagan and a table by Guy De Rougemont.

Earlier this year, Dior unveiled an innovative set of virtual reality goggles designed to offer prospective customers a glimpse into the exclusive behind-the-scenes world of fashion events.

Christian Dior was founded by the eponymous designer Christian Dior in Paris in 1946.
